Interesting formation received from a local researcher.

The arrival of this vessel is very significant in the overall scheme of things relating to research into the arrival of news in Australia from overseas reporting the use of ETHER to produce PAINLESS SURGERY.

Fri 16 October 1846: Public demonstration by WTG Morton of ETHER at Mass General Hospital BOSTON

Sat 17 October: reported in local newspapers

Mon 19 October: republished in other local newspapers

Wed 21 October: Robert Pulsford sailed Boston carrying local newspapers.
